«The time flies by faster than expected. We are one week away from Halloween which many houses have prepared for by decorating their homes, halfway to Christmas, and like that, we can say that we are a second away from coming back home, as we will be staying here in Dublin for three more weeks after we come back from our holidays.

As we come closer to our Business English Higher exam which is only 3 weeks away many of us feel confident about it and others feel a bit less prepared, wanting to exercise more in some parts of the exam. Personally, I am quite sure that all of us will pass the exam, as we communicate a lot with our colleagues at work and our host families.

If we leave that aside this week, we got to feel the true Irish weather for the reason that it was raining heavily almost every day, in every city, and even ended up flooding in the city of Cork, which is at around three hours away. Here in Dublin, we had small floodings to the size of the water not being able to drain at the drainages, so you had to be careful while crossing the street to not step in a puddle. All things considered, we are starting to feel the wintertime here and the exam is not as far away as we think it to be. »
