We have all settled in well and know how to get around in Dublin. We enjoy living here, it has a lot to offer whether the sandy beaches in Malahide or the green meadows in the many parks of Dublin.
This was our last week of language school and we continued to prepare intensively for our upcoming diploma. On Friday we had a talk with our teacher and discussed the learning process of the last four weeks, most of us have improved a lot. Next week we will start our internships and will only attend the language school on Wednesday afternoons for the next 9 weeks.
This weekend I visited Belfast in Northern Ireland. Belfast is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and the Titanic, which was built there. We visited the Titanic Museum, that’s located right where the Titanic was built. We got an insight into the tragic story of how the ship sank in 1912, how it was constructed, what life was like on board and who survived. It was a very interesting experience to get to know this sad event a little better.»
