«On Sunday, 20th of August 2023, we started our trip to Dublin. After a two-hour flight from Zurich to Dublin, we landed safely. At the airport we were divided into four cabs and brought to our homestays. Most of us took a little walk around the neighborhood to see what options were available in the area and to make sure we caught the right bus the next morning.

Now that our first week of school is officially over, we all know which bus, train, or tram to catch. Most of us used the time after school to explore the city. In doing so, we all noticed some things that are not comparable to Switzerland! Not only the public transportation can be very different, but also the people and their living conditions.

Many of us have started to feel or be sick after arriving. This is probably due to the climate changes and the large temperature differences we have experienced.

On our first weekend here, some of us also explored Dublin by night. This city shows two different sides by day and by night. But we are all happy to have the opportunity to be here and we are excited to learn more about Dublin and improve our English in the remaining three weeks of our intensive English course before we start our internships.»
