As I’m writing this, the first week of my 6-month stay in Dublin, Ireland has already past and we’re heading towards the second one. So far everything has gone well. We all attend our English courses until about 2pm Monday to Friday and then we have the rest of the day to ourselves. The English school offers tours to get to know Dublin better, but most of us want to discover the city by ourselves.
While sightseeing through the city center, or even when going to the coast, you can see that Dublin is an international city. That’s why we have had the opportunity to try tons of different dishes from all over the world. The varieties are endless. For breakfast I would recommend Ann’s Bakery, it offers lots of pastries and sweet dishes. If you want to eat a good lunch, you don’t need to worry, as already mentioned, the city has many places to enjoy a good meal. To round up your food experience a good dessert shouldn’t be left out. I would go to Gino Gelato, Bubble Waffle or to the Lisboa Pastelaria which has delicious “Pasteis de Nata”. It’s like “Crème Brulé” but way better.
