«The Christmas spirit is alive in Dublin, as the holidays approach. This will be our last week of internship before the Christmas holidays and I bet that we are all delighted to spend some time with our family and friends. During the most wonderful time of the year, the majority of us are returning home, others have made other plans however.

What is sure is that the city is all wrapped up in the festivity, as the city centre keeps being busy especially during the weekends. The Christmas stands in the city centre offer a range of Christmas jumpers and other presents to buy for your loved ones and the shopping centres are filled with decorations to the brim. Even the houses of the host families are fully decorated and ready for Christmas. It also is not a secret that the last few weeks before Christmas are usually the busiest in any type of company and working environment, as I am sure most of us could already experience.

I mostly felt that especially ever since I started my internship the time flew by very quickly and can barely believe it that we only have a little more than one month left of our semester abroad.»
