Dublin blog by Adon: “Christmas magic and everyday adventures”

Hello my name is Adon. I'm 17 and I am currently living in Tallaght Dublin.

Christmas time in Dublin is really special. There are so many lights and decorations everywhere and the city feels very festive. Last week I went to a few Christmas markets. The one in Tallaght was nice but I liked the Smithfield market the most. It had a Ferris wheel and an ice rink to skate on which was fun but pricey. I also went to the Christmas market in the city center and the lights there were amazing. There were also numerous stalls offering lots of good food.

At work I have learnt a lot. I can answer emails, talk on the phone and work with customers. Sometimes I even help with cooking, which I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. I really like working here because every day feels different, and I think I'm getting better at my tasks.

In my free time I like going for walks. Last week I went to Howth. It was really windy but the views were great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I also visited Phoenix Park which is a nice place to enjoy the countryside and see deer and other wildlife if you get lucky.

I think Christmas here in Dublin is very nice and I’ve had a good time so far.
